Howland Jones Sales

Mon 10 Apr 2017

As you may know, we have been your local Letting Agent since 2001, ARLA registered since 2013, specialising in the rental side of the property industry.

Over the years, we have often been asked by you if we will help to sell your property and to date, we have declined, choosing to remain solely your Letting Agent.

However, in recent years, more and more Landlords have looked to sell their investment properties and more recently, we have assisted a number of Landlord sellers by introducing them to the potential Investors we work with, resulting in some very successful exchanges.

As a result, we have made the decision we will now offer our clients a “full property service”, including the sale of their property or facilitating the purchase of their next investment.

And so, this week has seen the launch of Howland Jones Sales.

We provide a level of service and communication beyond the expectations currently set by the sales industry. We intend to make your sales journey an enjoyable one and are introducing cutting edge technology to ensure each property is marketed to its best ability. From drone aerial photography and 360 degree videos, to simple advice on how to present your property to its maximum advantage, we believe we can offer you something a little bit different and a little bit better than you may have experienced previously.

“The experience we have gained over the last 17 years in the lettings industry has been invaluable, building such solid relationships with our Landlords and Tenants. In fact, many of our Tenants have gone on to become Landlords with us, secure in the first-hand knowledge that they are in safe hands.” says Rebecca Howland. “I am extremely excited about this new venture. But it is paramount we do not lose sight of our flagship business in Lettings. The current Lettings team remains unchanged, ensuring our Landlords and Tenants will see no change in our attention levels. And my husband, Jon Howland has finally joined the team and will be heading up our Sales function.”

Rebecca goes on to say “Since I first launched Howland Jones Ltd back in 2001, Jon has been a constant support and sounding board. We always intended from the outset to work together in our business and I am just delighted that this time has now come.”

Jon has a solid career history in sales and operations management. His passion is in providing “customer delight” and he is enjoying bringing new skills to the business. Jon says “I am very pleased to be an active Director in Rebecca’s business. When we first met twenty years ago, it was through working for the same company and we hit it off straight away. Whilst our career paths took us in different directions, I have been involved in Howland Jones since the very start and I am now looking forward to influencing the next chapter in our business journey.”

Whilst Rebecca will continue to oversee the Lettings business, she and Jon will be running the Sales facility personally, from appraisals and viewings to sales progression and completion, so you can expect to receive the very best levels of service and guidance.

So, if you have been on the sales market for a while without success, or are thinking of bringing your property to the sales market, please talk to us to see how we can help. It will be our pleasure to work with you through to sale completion.

"Great service, all staff very professional!"
