Silver - Joint management
Our Silver service offers landlords the opportunity to work in partnership with a shared management scheme. This service is aimed particularly at landlords who prefer to have a ‘hands on’ approach to the tenancy, but maybe do not have the level of expertise to deal with all aspects.
Essentially, Howland Jones will deal with all rent collection, tenancy renewals and rent reviews, whilst the landlord handles all other issues including maintenance and inspections.
Our Silver service includes marketing of the property via our offices, local newspapers and a number of top ranking websites, namely howlandjones.com, rightmove.co.uk, findaproperty.com, primelocation.com and homeandproperty.com.

Howland Jones will secure suitable referenced tenants, forward the deposit to the landlord for them to register with a government recognised scheme, provide an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement, create an inventory with evidential digital photographs, set up the standing order for rent from the tenant, email monthly rent statements and notify the utilities of the change of occupancy.
The landlord will be responsible for the following:
- Providing their own Energy Performance Certificate prior to marketing
- Insuring the deposit with a government recognised scheme
- All future inspections
- ... and of course, all 24 hour
