Rebecca Howland

Rebecca Howland, Managing Director

Rebecca is founder and managing director of Howland Jones residential lettings and sales and has over 17 years of experience in the lettings industry. More recently, Rebecca and husband Jon have successfully created a residential sales side to the business, selling investment properties for existing clients as well as properties for new sales clients. Rebecca ensures the company continually strives to achieve excellence across every discipline; with a client satisfaction orientated background, delivering remarkable service is always close to her heart. "My passion for Italian cooking is generally appreciated by my husband, son and daughter, although honesty always pays. In my "spare time" I play a number of instruments including the piano, cello and flute. Maybe I'll make it onto BGT yet. Other than that, I spend time with my adorable dog Brian (who you'll usually meet if you come to our offices), cat and four hens. Fresh eggs make amazing pasta!"

Jon  Howland

Jon Howland, Sales Director

Jon is a joint owner of the business with Rebecca and is focused on building the property sales arm of Howland Jones. Jon's vision for performance growth is based on delivering "customer delight". "My passion (or labour of love) is gardening, where I can switch off and get some lawn therapy. My other occasional passion is driving fast cars - very fast; a rare treat. When I can't indulge myself in fast cars, then golf makes do - if I can ever find the time for it."

Allison Lucas

Allison Lucas, Director of Lettings

Allison oversees the entire letting process and deals directly with our tenants and landlords throughout the tenacy process, from initial enquiry to closing inspection. "Music is my passion, live or otherwise; old or new. The ability to lose myself in a song helps me to stay sane - well as sane as I can ever be!"

Fiona  Doody

Fiona Doody, Accounts Manager

If you have any queries with your rent or our fees, Fiona will help you. Fiona deals with all accounting for the company and runs a very tight ship with a hard earned average of less than 1% (regularly 0%) rent arrears at all times. "I am a huge fan of rugby, supporting my home team South Africa. With a great love for the outdoors and "sun" (think I moved to the wrong country!) I enjoy the traditional South African braai (bbq) and socialising with friends".

Stacey  Haynes

Stacey Haynes, Lettings Administrator

Stacey works closely with Carla to ensure the viewing and application process runs smoothly. "I am a bright, bubbly person who always has a smile on her face. I have two beautiful children who are my world. I love nothing more than spending time with my family and seeing them grow. I have a passion for music concerts and singing like there is no tomorrow. I also volunteer at my sons school when they attend day trips and outings. I have a crazy cat called “Misty”, more mischievous than Misty!!"

Rebecca Macdonald, Viewing Accompanier

Rebecca accompanies people viewing properties three evenings a week & on Saturdays 9am-4pm. She also assists with Opening & Interim Inspections and sometimes you will see her in the office helping with administration. "I have a work hard play hard mentality. I am lucky to have 2 wonderful children and a job I love so for me finding the balance isn't hard. ‘ Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about dancing in the rain.’"

Janette  Allcote

Janette Allcote, Repairs & Maintenance Administrator

Janette assists with repairs as well as ensuring all compliance Interim Inspections are booked on time. "I am probably the quieter one in the office. Most of my spare time is taken up by my 2 daughters, who are into Street Dancing and practice nearly every night and at weekends to appear in shows and take part in competitions around the country".

Carla Sabin

Carla Sabin, Senior Lettings Administrator

Carla is our Senior Lettings Administrator and oversees the referencing and Opening Inspection process, as well as supporting Rebecca Howland with client introductions. "Originally from Wales, I moved to Swadlincote 15 years ago with my husband. We share our home with our 10 year old daughter, two cats and a rabbit. I love to cook and especially enjoy teaching my daughter how to prepare a good home cooked meal. I enjoy glass painting and my friends and family will often get a hand painted item as a gift."
